Now I'm not talking about mowing down herds of moon aliens with a space gatling gun, but maybe something akin to a gravity gun, portal gun, maybe even just a tazer that only temporarily stuns the monster, something to keep you more engaged you know. I'm still gonna get this because I like the setting and I want to support single player games, but I can't help but think that "psychological horror" is a cop-out for lack of time/budget/talent to implement something resembling a combat system. It is a pity that the oppressive atmosphere of sticky nightmare and horror failed because of not impressive monsters. Moons of Madness is a pleasant and very beautiful adventure with nice puzzles and a well-written story, which includes references to the films 'The Martian' or 'Prometheus', and the legacy of the cult author. Of course they won't outright say it's a walking sim because it's almost a pejorative term at this point, but that's essentially what this is.
